eBay - What Do I Sell?

"Owning" an eBay business, and making money at it, is relatively simple. Start with selling a product. Duh!

eBay provides many people who want to realize the dream of being their own boss. All with little or no start up money. This is done with the help of drop shippers. Drop shippers send the merchandise your customers bought at auction for you. There is no need to stock anything at your house! No garage full of thousands upon thousands of products. You can sell a wide variety of items on eBay without having to warehouse any of them!

Your responsibility is to sell a product. Once the sale is made, the customer’s information is passed to the drop shipping company you are working with. The drop shipper does the rest. Your customer will no idea that you did not send it. That you actually had a third party send it to them. The drop shipper packages, labels, and ships the products your customers buy.

Drop shipping is relatively easy but you must research which companies you are going to use.
Most companies may require you to pay for the items that your customers order before they are shipped. Some do not.

Some companies have a yearly subscription fee in order for you to sell their products. Some do not.

There are a lot of drop ship companies to choose from. It's up to you to decide which one you'll use.

eBay gives you several formats to choose from when you sell something. Which ever format your choose - auction - fixed - classified - make sure the minimum price you will receive is higher than the price your drop shipper will be charging you to send your item. Markup your item enough for you to make a profit.

Keep in mind that a profit is anything over the amount you "paid" for an item minus other expenses like eBay or PayPal fees.
